Refund policy
Β
1. Applicability & Scope
This Return & Refund Policy (βPolicyβ) is part of and governed by our Terms & Conditions. In the event of any conflict, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail. This Policy applies to all purchases made through ERI Iowa Inc, eri-iowa.com.
2. Return Period
You have 30 days from the date of delivery/receipt of the item to request a return. Requests submitted after the 30-day period will generally not be accepted unless required by applicable law.
3. Eligibility for Return
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in the same condition as when received, unused, unmodified, and in its original packaging (including all manuals, accessories, labels, serials, and tags).
- For sealed, sterilized, or consumable products, returns are permitted only if the seal is unbroken, within shelf-life, and the product remains unused (unless defective).
- Customized, made-to-order, perishable, or software (once activated or unsealed) items are non-returnable except in the event of defect.
- You must provide proof of purchase (invoice, order number).
4. Return Authorization & Process
- To initiate a return, contact us at info@eri-iowa.com within the return window.
- Returns must not be sent without first obtaining a Return Authorization (RA) number or similar approval. Items sent without authorization may be refused or delayed.
- Upon approval, we will provide return instructions and a return shipping label (if applicable).
- You have 7 days from issuance of the RA to ship the return, or the RA may expire.
5. Return Shipping & Costs
- Unless the return is due to our error (e.g. defective, damaged, incorrect item), you are responsible for return shipping and handling costs.
- We may deduct a shipping or handling fee (or restocking fee) from your refund to offset processing costs.
- Risk of loss or damage during return transit remains with you until we receive and inspect the item.
6. Inspection & Condition
- Upon receipt, we will inspect the returned item to confirm eligibility.
- If the item is not in acceptable condition (e.g. missing parts, damage from misuse, signs of use), we reserve the right to reject the return or offer a partial refund after deducting a restocking or refurbishment fee.
- In such cases, we may return the item to you at your cost.
7. Refunds
- If your return is accepted, we will issue a refund to your original payment method (or credit, at our discretion).
- We aim to process refunds withinΒ 7 business daysΒ of acceptance, but you acknowledge that your bank or card issuer may take additional time to clear.
- We may withhold the refund until we receive and inspect the item.
- We reserve the right to deduct applicable fees (return shipping, restocking, inspection) from the refund.
8. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
- You must inspect your order upon receipt and notify us promptly (withinΒ 5 business days) via email or phone if the item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect.
- In such cases, we may require photos, description of defects, or return of the item, at our cost, before issuing a remedy.
- Our remedy may include repair, replacement, credit, or refund, in our discretion.
9. Exchanges
We do not offer in-place exchanges. To exchange, return the item under this Policy and place a new order for the desired item.
10. Limitations & Exclusions
- This Policy does not apply to services, warranties, installation, software licensing (once opened), or items expressly marked non-returnable at the time of sale.
- This Policy does not limit your legal rights under applicable consumer protection laws, which cannot be waived.
- We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse returns, limit quantities, or impose further restrictions as needed to prevent abuse.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website and communicated to customers. Your continued use or orders after such changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Policy (and any disputes arising from it) is governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the relevant courts (or arbitration) as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
