Achieving precision from the factory and maintaining it effortless during your use
Built with a compliant design, EIZO ensures that the RadiForce RX250 is in line with DICOM Part 14, delivering the most consistent shading possible for the most accurate diagnosis.
Maintaining the precision is achieved by using the provided quality control software called RadiCS LE. To calibrate to the DICOM Part 14 standard, the Integrated Front Sensor (IFS) measures brightness and grayscale tones. Located within the bezel, this sensor performs quality control tasks without interfering with the viewing area: you can continue using the monitor. This dramatically reduces maintenance costs.
The combination of RadiCS LE software and the IFS help delivering stable brightness over the years. EIZO is so confident in its product quality that brightness stability is also covered during the usage time specified in the warranty.
A true performing hybrid radiology monitor
Monochrome images such as x-ray, MRI and CT, and color images such as ultrasound and endoscopy can be visualized on the same screen with high accuracy. The RX250 can automatically distinguish between monochrome and color images pixel by pixel, optimizing grayscale for each pixel, thanks to the built-in Hybrid Gamma PXL function.
Stay as close as possible to reality
Performance standards push medical monitors to offer high brightness. LCD monitors suffer an unavoidable decline in sharpness when they use high brightness due to an increased pixel aperture ratio. EIZO’s technology called Sharpness Recovery helps restore this decrease in sharpness (MTF), allowing you to display images that are true to their original source data at a high brightness level.
Eizo measures how faithfully the panel displays details from the original image data with MTF. When Sharpness Recovery is turned on, in the case of a 2 pixel line pair, the MTF increases by approximately 47%.
Stunning image quality shouldn’t mean less comfort
Radiology is a very intense and stressful medical field. Today’s equipment must help improving your workflow or serve your comfort in some way. EIZO packed the RadiForce RX250 with details covering this purpose.
The black front bezels allow for better viewing in dark reading rooms, facilitating increased focus on the images.
The monitor takes 27% less space than its predecessor, to give you more workspace for other tasks, but also reducing eye movement when comparing side-by-side images in a dual monitor configuration. Additionally, a special anti-reflection (AR) coating reduces reflections without affecting the monitor’s brightness. The anti-glare (AG) coating minimizes the loss of contrast (causing blacks to appear washed out).
The CAL switch function lets you conveniently choose from the monitor’s front panel between various modes for different modalities such as CR, CT, and endoscopy.
Benefit from increased comfort thanks to its stand modularity: you can tilt the screen and adjust height at a wide range.
EIZO understands that time is of the essence in radiology departments. The patented drift correction function quickly stabilizes the brightness level of the monitor upon startup, displaying the most accurate images quickly. You can also count on a sensor compensating automatically for brightness fluctuations caused by ambient temperature and aging.
Ultimately, it is worth noting that the RadiForce RX250 has wide viewing angles, thereby allowing a user from the side to view the image with minimal color shift.
Built to reduce footprint
The RadiForce RX250 is manufactured with a new panel packed with energy-efficient LED backlight reducing power consumption by 27% compared to the previous generation. Thanks to the presence sensors using a heat sensing method, it can automatically turn on power save mode as soon as it detects that the user is away, and resume activity when he or she comes back. You can also count on the after-service recycling system to discard your monitor responsibly.
