Krystal sterile endocavity probe covers support infection control during gynecological exams and other procedures, such as urology biopsies and egg retrieval in reproductive medicine. Each cover is individually packaged in a heat-sealed sterile pouch, ready for use in sterile environments.
Made of tear-resistant latex, the covers are stretchable to accommodate larger transducers and are manufactured without lubrication. They are compatible with both sterile and non-sterile ultrasound gel and provide a barrier against contaminants and bodily fluids, making the cleaning and disinfection process more efficient.
Approved by the FDA and designed by EDM, with over 30 years of experience in medical imaging. Although probe covers provide an additional layer of protection against HAIs, they should be used in conjunction with proper disinfection procedures, as required by the CDC.
