To meet performance standards, a medical monitor must be able to display images in high brightness. Still, the pixel aperture ratio must increase to achieve high brightness in an LCD panel. This causes a typically unavoidable decline in sharpness. With EIZO's unique Sharpness Recovery technology, this common decrease in sharpness is avoided.
Thanks to the modulation transfer function, the RX1270 allows you to display an image that is true to the original source data, even at high brightness levels. The MTF measures how well the panel transfers details from the original image data for viewing.

The color and brightness of an LCD monitor can shift due to changes in ambient temperature and the monitor's temperature. Medical Imaging RadiForce monitors are equipped with a temperature sensor for accurately measuring the temperature inside the monitor and estimating the temperature of the surrounding environment.
With this technology, the monitor adjusts in real-time so gradations, color, brightness, and other characteristics continue to display accurately. Furthermore, EIZO uses AI (artificial intelligence) in the estimation algorithm of the RX1270 so it can distinguish between changing temperature patterns to calculate an even more accurate correction.
