The EIZO RadiForce RX850 is a 31.1-inch, 8-megapixel (4096 x 2160) color LCD monitor for viewing several types of medical images at once, including digital mammography, MRI and ultrasound. A single RX850 can replace a multi-monitor setup, so mammography-specific software and PACS applications can be displayed side by side on one screen to streamline the radiology workflow.
The RX850 has FDA 510(k) clearance for breast tomosynthesis, mammography and general radiography, and also displays MRI, CT and ultrasound images. The bundled RadiCS LE quality control software performs a simplified calibration compliant with DICOM Part 14, correcting brightness and grayscale tones to maintain image accuracy and consistency over time.

Hybrid Gamma: distinguishes monochrome and color images on the same screen and displays each with optimal brightness and tones.

Anti-reflection (AR) coating: reduces reflections from external light without affecting the light from the monitor. Anti-glare (AG) treatments can make blacks appear washed out through diffusion of the backlight, so AR is preferred for digital mammography, chest X-ray and other high-resolution images.
