The Barco Nio MDNG-5221 is a 5 megapixel (2560 x 2048) grayscale diagnostic display for radiology, including digital mammography viewing. It is available in single and dual monitor configurations.
Energy-efficient LED backlights combine high brightness with low power consumption. They produce less heat and need less cooling, which lowers maintenance and operating costs, and they offer a longer lifetime even at high brightness. The high-bright backlights also render more shades of gray, making variations easier to identify.
Uniform Luminance Technology (ULT) makes subtle details visible sooner, reducing windowing and leveling time. A front-of-screen sensor, used with Barco QAWeb Enterprise software for automated quality assurance and on-demand calibration, keeps images consistent and DICOM-compliant.
